چکیده

رساله حاضر ترجمه فصول (5-10) از کتاب "بررسی زبانشناختی افعال انگلیسی" است . در فصل 5، به کاربردهای زمان آینده و حال و سپس به خصوصیات بیشتری در باره زمان حال و آینده و مقولات زمانهای کامل و غیرکامل پرداخته شده است . در فصل 6 به نوعی بسط و گسترش افعال اصلی، و در فصل 7 به تمام کاربردهای افعال کمکی بجز آندسته از صورتهای زمان حال که به زمان حال یا آینده دلالت می کند اشاره دارد. در فصل 9 و 10 به ترتیب در باره جمله یا عبارت مرکب و افعال عبارتی و افعال حروف اضافه ای بحث شده است .
